THIS IS NOT A HARLEY EXCLUSIVE RIDE - ALL MAKES AND MODELS WELCOME!
About Us:
Ride 4 Cure began in 2005 when co-founders, Lori Ulrich and Phil Hack, were looking to do a fundraising event to benefit their Relay for Life team. That first year it was pulled together in two months time with a small committee of helpers. Each year the participation has grown, as well as our committee of helpers and volunteers. Starting in 2008, at the 4th Annual event, we did a Friday night local poker run along with the scenic Saturday ride. Live music, food, prizes, raffles and vendors are just a part of the event. We will be
having the same format again in 2009 with dates set for June 26-27.
Mission Statement:
Our commitment is to raise money for cancer research and cancer related programs as well as life limiting illness and end of life care.
Charities for 2009:
We will share the proceeds from this year’s events with Rainbow Hospice Foundation and
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Donation Statistics:
During its first 4 years, Ride 4 Cure has donated $23,573.21 to Relay for Live/American Cancer Society. Another $1000 was presented to the Hoffman family and $500 sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Both came from donations made at the 1st Annual Ride 4 Cure Golf Outing in memory of Elizabeth Hoffman.
